Here’s the “Who”….

Who:

It wasn’t until I started following notable people who are passionate about fashion that I began to discover, invest in and embrace my personal style. We’ve all had those awkward pre-teen/middle school days where you’re both following your friends’ and favorite popstars or actresses’ style (for me, it was Selena Gomez a.k.a. Alex from Wizards from Waverly Place on Disney Channel). When high school came around, my friends and I realized that we needed to discover our own style. Of course we started to discover our own style by getting inspiration from our favorite celebs or influencers on social media.

Amongst all of the gorgeous celebs, models, “Insta-models” and friends I follow on social media, here are my top 3 fashion inspos who I still follow and get inspiration from today: Rihanna (https://www.instagram.com/badgalriri/?hl=en), Luanna Perez a.k.a. Le-Happy (http://www.le-happy.com/) and Kelsey Simone (https://www.youtube.com/user/BenefitBarbie14).

I chose these the three ladies because they inspire me with their own take on fashion and styling. They manage to both follow and set trends. Their styles are unconventional and timeless. Although each of their styles are different, they all have one thing in common: confidence in their look. What is cool about these three women is that one is a celebrity/artist/performer (Rihanna), the other is a fashion blogger (Le-Happy) and the other is beauty vlogger/Youtuber (Kelsey Simone).

I admire Rihanna’s confidence and I look to her for inspiration on avant-garde, ”outlandish”, and super creative outfits with out-of-the-box accessories. I’ve been following Luanna’s blog for years and I love her “sweet & sour” kind of style. She the perfect balance of grunge and girl which I love. An example of this is her combination of lace and combat boots. Lastly, I recently discovered Kelsey’s YouTube channel (like last summer) and have been addicted ever since. Her meticulous attention to the detail and color scheme of her clothes. I’m obsessed with how she shows her viewers how to turn cheaper pieces into high-end and versatile looks. Not only can I look at what she wears but, I can follow her tips to incorporate aspects of her style into mine.

Make sure you check them out and here are my favorite looks by them:
