And the “Where”...

Where:

My favorite store to shop at is Zara. That’s crazy because I just “discovered” Zara only last year; my sophomore of college. I owe this discovery to my roommate who convinced me that Zara is the “best place to shop” (her words, and now mine). To be clear, I knew of Zara all along but, I wrote it off as too expensive, after only having gone into the store once or twice. Thanks to my roommate's convincing, I have been addicted to Zara ever since. I can honestly say that almost half of my closet is made up of their pieces. From dresses to jeans.

I love Zara because their clothing is great quality. By this, I mean that all of the sweaters, t-shirts, jeans and dresses I’ve bought have been thick and sturdy material that I expect to last a long time. Zara is my favorite because they release collections every season which keeps their clothing fresh and trendy. To me, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and style I am getting. I also think that their style is applicable to almost all parts of the world, hence their many international stores. I look forward to exploring Zara’s Spanish stores next semester when I study abroad in Barcelona! (Zara was founded in Spain)

H&M storefront

H&M is my second favorite store to shop at. It reminds of Zara but, a significantly cheaper version. Sort of like Zara, H&M updates its collection every season too. Their clothes are often versatile; from a day out to work to a night out. Like Zara, they also have great basics like tanks and t-shirts which I love.

H&M has a special place in my heart because it is the first “non-teen” clothing store that I shopped at back in 8th grade. People would be surprised how much of my closet is made up of H&M pieces ranging from $5 - $20 each.

Be sure to check out these stores because you can definitely find good quality clothes at a good price!
